Tragically this is an accident that is waiting to happen every single day.
Wtf is up with people ? Why do so many people need to drive like demented F1 drivers :102:
Only this morning i watched a young man undertaking around a small island on the way to work. That was after another tosser tailgated me on the motorway, then overtook me only to cut straight across 3 lanes to exit the motorway. Braindead idiots.

We don't know if that's what happened in this case. It could have been something like a tyre blow out which caused the car to veer into the path of the lorry.

But there are people around who seem determined to kill themselves and others on the road. I knew someone who drove like a lunatic all the time, and it was no surprise when he ended up hitting a tree and killing himself, and unfortunately, one of his passengers.

Of course its not known yet what caused this accident, and thus my rant is aimed at the general standard of driving.
Why do so many people need to drive so aggressively:102:. Even mild mannered people that i know, transform themselves into crazed demons once surrounded by that metal frame.
My dad always says of the lunatics........' your a long time under '

i had the fright of my life when i woke up this morning because my aunty had texted me asking what i know about the crash. i looked on the internet and it described the lorry driver as a 48 year old man from melton, which describes my dad who also works nightshifts. rang him immediately and was relieved that he answered the phone and was it wasn't him driving. still, a horrible, horrible accident. RIP.

I was a very close witness to a nasty motorbike fatality recently. Within hours there were people on the internet responding to the news story, speculating wildly that it must have been his fault, probably speeding, too young for such a big bike, not wearing a helmet, etc. I found that quite offensive, being so closely involved, especially as it was totally untrue. It turned out to be a simple slip at a vital time by a young but experienced rider, properly kitted out and supervised by his dad, but with utterly tragic consequences.

Accidents DO happen. There's not always someone to "blame" and not always a case for an immediate witch hunt.

'tis human nature though, Des. Curiosity is an emotion we're all guilty of.

Nobody usually takes offence unless we're involved, or think we're involved.

Just on this site alone we're debating Robert Mugabe, Saddam Hussein, George Bush, Madelaine McCann etc etc. None of us have a clue what we're talking about, yet we still point fingers and apportion blame.

I'm not necessarily talking about posters on here, but in my experience, a high horse is usually climbed upon when the mood suits, and then gotten down from to join in the conversation when the mood suits.
