You could get Virgin from Tamworth to Derby and then MML to Leicester if Central Trains aren't running.

Alternatively you could walk you lazy bastard. :icon_bigg

Damn, late coming back though isnt it Jeff? So its not 100% confirmed the Central (b@stard) trains are cancelled, if it isnt confirmed when will it be announced do you know?

Get a bus. Surely buses go to Nuneaton, and then the 158 bus from Nuneaton to Leics.

Checked the times are at crappy times, it would take ages to get there, im sure it was something like a 10 o something clock bus to nuneaton in order to get to leicester before 3. Then the Nuneaton to Tamworth stop running at something like 5 oclock, so i would miss that and would have to walk :icon_cry:

well my mom gets back from India tommorow (after 6 weeks) i dont think she will take me (selfish bint) and my dads is at work and wouldnt take me lol.

:icon_lol:

22 February 2007

Central Trains this afternoon confirmed that following constructive discussions with the RMT yesterday, the planned strike action by Senior Conductors on Saturday 24th February has now been called off.

Operations Director, Andy Thomas said the decision by the RMT not to go ahead with the 24 hour strike will mean normal services for passengers,

"We are pleased that the strike action will not now go ahead. We always knew that constructive dialogue was the way to prevent disruption to our passengers.

"We are now in discussions with the union and next week we hope to complete those discussions and bring a conclusion to this long running dispute."
