the world speed (on rails) record went today. 360 ish mph by a french train. That's a mile every 10 seconds....

I used to sometimes get a school bus like that, one of the Confidence busses if you have ever seen it bezzin around Leicester, used to be so much fun becuase the windows would wind down on that to make it much easier to throw things out the window!! Aaahhh the good old school bus! :)

Legendary colours are the ones my friend. Them black and sky blue bad boys brought me so many fun memories, and not to mention some reet characters for bus drivers. I believe the depot is in South Wigston as I had to go there on numerous occasions, usually after leaving my Product Design coursework on the bus! :icon_lol:

yes its still there, I drive by it every day, they now have some Red buses as well. we used to have the double deckers when I was in the Boys brigade and at Bushloe for sports days transporting us to saffron lane!

That's right outside Charing Cross station. I cross that road right there at 10:08 every Saturday morning when City are at home, carefully avoiding the pelican crossing inconveniently placed just a few yards along.

that's where i used to buy my sunday paper at midnght on a saturday after going on the lash in Covent Garden
