From Bangkok Post:
"His son Aiyawatt, now a Leicester director, said the club need quality defenders and midfielders but manager Paulo Sousa will be allowed to look for players he wants and Aiyawatt will then make a decision whether the club should buy them."

Obviously written before Boro game otherwise he would have added 'and quality goalscorers' to the list!

Maybe more than 10 million, bloody hell, we haven't had money like that since Taylor who spent it all on crap players. I have my doubts about this consortium, but who can refuse money like this, and an increase in the stadium size, if all this happens I will take back all negative stuff I have said previously.

(but why am I still a little dumbstruck/nervous about it all?)

Oooooo, thats why.

Why increase the capacity when we are pricing fans out of coming to the games? It was 21,500 on Saturday (less than Boro got for their opening game!!!)

With increased capacity in this division, they'd have to lower prices.

I wouldn't be confident of 42,000 even in the prem... although maybe for Utd at home etc.

Wonder how long it would take them to do this extension?

We've had 32,000 week in week out before in the prem. I'm guessing that with a sensible pricing structure, just about every game will get at least this.

Exactly.

Seems to me the King Power ***** have done this press conference in Bangkok just to show off a new toy. The pair of them refused to say anything specific in the 'unveiling' deal.

It does come across as if they are showing off. Though I agree with others that in the Premiership (with sensible pricing) we could easily get crowds to fill that capacity. Sensible pricing being a big issue with our club these days

Stupid Chavs fan said we would have no chance of filling the stadium of 42,000 so I looked at the attendances for when we were last in the Premiership.

Last time we were in the Prem we failed to break 30,000 attendances 4 times in all competitions according to the OS - Against Crewe (27,675), Man City (18,916), Bolton (26,674) & Fulham (28,392) - Two of them were cup, Bolton was the lowest attendance of the Premiership season which was a Tuesday night fixture & Fulham well they just aren't a team that people want to watch apparently. :102:
