During the Football Forum on Radio Leicester this week Mr Mandaric indicated discounted Season Tickets will not be on offer for existing Season Ticket holders as the club no longer requires on the cash injection early Season Ticket sales generates.

He was very careful though to say that the prices had not been decided. The price for next season *might* be less than the discounted price was for last season. I think he was trying to make the point that there was no need for the cash injection rather than any particular point about next season's prices.

Depends how much the discount is. The 10% rate of last season and the 5% rate for this and last season offer almost unbeatable value. I wish I could get 5% interest on all my savings in just a few weeks. Most people struggle to achieve that in a year!

All academic for next season though - City don't need our money early any more.

I see that argument.

But for 10% of £350 (ish) I only recieve £35, that money is of more use to me in the bank to pay any bills that arrive (winter gas/electric) etc than a saving of £35.

In the summer, the bills are probably £200 less than in the winter and my cash flow allows a greater opportunity to spend a larger amount of disposable income on football tickets.

Cash flow keeps my house running, a £35 gesture doesn't if it means tying my money up.

But granted, a 10% saving is indeed generous from the club

I would like to see the 'loyal' ST holder rewarded. I know it is not fair on those whose work schedules make it uneconomic to buy STs. My family have bought STs for the last 6 years and supported the Club up front in their dark days. I would like a discount over a new ST holder who is only coming in now that we have MM on board.

I was out side the ground from 2:10 until 2:50. I saw plenty of red nose/ear/hair stuff but ne'er one Trust canvasser. Did anybody see one?
