I fear he won't play for us again
I fear he won't play for us again, he seems miles off full fitness.
I want to believe this but how good will he be if he manages to make the comeback? :icon_conf
If it wasn't remotely likely, would the club or the player have bothered to go to such lengths? With the sort of injuries and radical attempted remedies that apply in this case it's not remotely likely it will happen.
...pure blind optimism. Why don't you try it?

I think we have differing opinions of the definition of "not remotely likely". Are you suggesting that players who have cruciate ligament damage aren't remotely likely to ever play again? If so, I think you're doing so against all the evidence. True, a fair proportion never make it, but not remotely likely? I'd estimate more than 50% of players with similar injuries play again.
Add to that the fact that the local media have just announced he's close to at least attempting a comeback, I would summise you're talking a load of old bollocks.
