Going by the rules from the club website, not only do you need deep pockets, you also need a degree in maths to understand how to get a fecking ticket.

If your second favourite colour is orange and you wear a size eight shoe, you can get a ticket between 11.30-11.40 next Tuesday. If you know the magic word.

Something the club may regret I think. I'm keen to get to the two north east away games but it seems like the support isn't wanted.

Surprised at the lack of reply's to this, or are people actually happy to pay that?

I think most will have realised that it is inevitable.

Expensive, Yes, but still less than it cost me the last time I was in the away section for a league game at Chelsea about 7 or 8 years ago!

That obviously didn't involve us.

Supporters of the AA-rated teams will be paying them £56/£59 this season.

Only if they're stupid enough to pay...

Day trip to London and going to see your club take on one of the big 4? We'd all love for every football ticket to be dirt cheap but I guess Chelsea have crunched the numbers to decided that this is the right price for a sellout... I don t expect they will have too many empty seats even with that price.

Also - and I agree it is expensive firstly - but what is cheaper, a Chelsea ticket with prebooked travel from leicester, or a ticket to Newcastle and the fare? Football clubs never seem to take into proximity of the away supporters to the ground...?

They probably won't, which shows there are a fair few people with more money than sense.

For me, Newcastle.

Well in this example, we were screwed with sky/Bt being so late on their tv choices...that any decent train fares were gone.
