But, well, don't they all stand in line for the photograph before the game each time?

Nice to see Puel watching this one. I see no reason to believe the club are making any preparations to replace him anytime soon so to see him taking an interest in the club outside the first team is encouraging.

any manager should always watch the U23s, its the next crop of players you can choose from and you never know when an injury crisis will occur so its just sensible from him.

The difference is if Puel is impressed he, like Pochetino, Klopp and Pep will put them in the first team where others would manage through fear and not back them.

You could save yourself tens of millions on a squad man to spend on a star instead simply by backing a young player

Can't remember really watching Uche before tonight. He's a decent player on this evidence. With Slimani, Ulloa, Thomas and Musa all cleared out now, he's probably only a couple of injuries away from the first team bench.

Soyuncu looks like he's playing with children. His thinking is a second ahead of everyone else which bodes well.

The game is really dull though. Moving onto Man U / Spurs.

3-1 now. Kapustka and Ndukwu with the 2nd and 3rd after Blackburn had equalized.
