A breakneck speed thus far...quantity, quality and all that.
Back to Verma...22 seems a touch old to be a "prospect" but it's happened in the past. Les Ferdinand and Guy Whittingham were late bloomers, so it's certainly possible. But history suggests if you can't break into the first team by 21 or so you are probably going to struggle.
Pearson has obviously seen enough to think he has potential to develop into a decent player, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt rather than dismiss him out of hand.

To be fair to Pearson I cannot think of one player he has brought in and played that I thought was a Allen/Holloway/Taylor type choice.
So I will trust his and Steve Walsh's judgement.

i know everyone is confident we've got the right man, but Pearson isn't infallible. this shit about " i trust Pearson in everything he does" is begininng to grate a little. People shouldn't be afriad to have a critical view despite the fact hes done a great job so far.
