The away club is entitled to apply for up to 15% of the tickets for League Cup games this season - that's about 4,800. They have to do this within 3 days of the draw. Villa haven't announced their ticketing arrangements yet.

i think they will sell well due to their recent resurgence (or MON's lucky run) ;)

just called Martin the bloke who takes me to the home matches to see if he is going to the villa matche so i could send my payment to the ticket office, and for f**ks sake he is going to manchester then so he cant go........ :( Doesnt matter ill find a way to get there and back ill still be there!!!

which it wont

If you need to use public transport the last train back to Tamworth after the match is at 22:49 (change at Nuneaton), so you should be OK even if it goes to extra time and penalties.

Would be OK extra-time, but I doubt if it would be for penalties. The 90 minutes is unlikely to finish until at least 21:35. Allowing 5 minutes after that to get extra-time underway and 5 minutes for half-time in extra-time (I know they're supposed to change straight round but they never do), the 120 minutes won't finish before 10:15. The walk to the station takes 25 minutes; Jessel might do it in 20, if he knows the shortest way - that leaves 14 minutes at the very most. I don't reckon that you can be sure that a penalty shoot-out will finish within 14 minutes of the end of extra-time.

I still think Jessel will be OK on the train though - we'll do them in 90 minutes.

The Doncaster v Sheep shootout finished at 10:32 - (after 16 penalties were taken), I reckon someone younger and thinner than us leaving The Walkers Stadium at that time could get to the station in 17 minutes, as long as they were in a position to get out of the ground as soon as it was decided, and walked briskly / jogged. It's only a mile and a quarter, so it shouldn't take too much effort.

I predict 24-25000 crowd

And a 2-0 victory to City

about half an hour

not too bad then. Last season I stood in line for 30 mins waiting to get into the 1884, until I realised it was for the ticket office...........:icon_cry: :icon_redf :icon_redf
