I'm surprised they haven't sold the naming rights to someone else for another stream of revenue rather than just doing it themselves
Shows their egos I suppose

As it appears they are throwing a lot of money at the club, at least the naming rights fees ( with certain conditions ) will be tax deductable, whereas the investment in the club generally will not. Plus they seem very keen to get their name well known. Ego polishing it may be, but if they are happy to do it, good luck to them. They could have spent their money elsewhere.I'm surprised they haven't sold the naming rights to someone else for another stream of revenue rather than just doing it themselves

Brilliant, so we have one fan saying we need to keep our heritage and call it Filbo even though it is no longer on Filbert Street and another saying he will keep the heritage by calling it the Walkers.
Exactly. jebus help us, join a Facebook group and chnge the world.
Well IMO I can't see anything wrong with this. It reinforces the owner's ties to the club, it doesn't sound crap, and opposition fans can no longer refer to it as 'the crisp bowl' without sounding stupid. They are obviously trying to raise their profile, I think not only in this country but maybe over the world in the long run. Wouldn't surprise me if they plan on opening some king power duty free outlets in the UK within the next few years.
They can refer to it as the nuts bowl instead
My thoughts entirley. Plus, do we know Walkers wanted to continue? They might have felt that they had got all of the benefit they were going to get.Maybe the amount Walkers would pay is less than the tax saving?
The legacy deal is clearly a load of tarted up shit
Why? If Walkers are still putting money into the club, then I dont see the problem with it.
Overreaction is this week's theme.Forget insulting each other, declaring things or players Shit seems to be the new thing at the minute on here. I've not seen so much overreactive swearing since Lako's angry phase a fee years back.
Facebook people can join this group of course "The Walkers Stadium NOT to be renamed the King Power Stadium"
