did schmeical have more touches than our outfield players? sorry for the sarcasm but we managed to move the ball from their 18 yard box back to Schmeical!!
Nacho is a ****ing disaster of a footballer and as soon as Vardy went off we were never going to score another. It was also disappointing just how many times Chilwell got into a decent position only to cross the ball either miles too deep or straight to the first defender. It was encouraging to see us getting players closer to Vardy and Tielemans was good throughout. We created a few decent openings but we've only got one goal threat really and it's a major problem.
First half was the worst performance I've seen from us all year. Second half marginally better and then we go and give it away.
If Rodgers was supposed to be able to come in and inject a bit of energy then he's failed.
Looks like we're back to square one "in need of a rebuild" but we won't give Rodgers the time just like we haven't given any of our last three managers the time. Sacked by next Easter when he hasn't performed a miracle and then the cycle will start over again. It is written, and I'm already bored of the story.
He's had one game in charge ffs. Away at a team fighting for 7th.
Frustrating to lose a goal so early. We needed to settle and build some belief and it never happened.
Watford were very impressive. They just over-powered us really. I like their manager, the approach their club has taken over the last few seasons, and the character in their team.
We're fragile mentally and tactically. No manager can sort that out in a few days or even weeks. We have to accept that these games give Rodgers a chance to learn who he can rely on next season. Results are of secondary importance now.
The Tielemans/Vardy combination was excellent for the goal. If only we could have done that more often as Vardy was starved of service again.
Although Maddison was poor, he was much better in the latter stages of the game for some reason.
It was a sloppy finish with a misplaced long pass from Schmeichel reminding me of the one Ndidi did late on against Wolves. Very similar errors being punished.
****ing hell, he's had one game after 3 days of training.
"He's failed."
"Back to square one"
Seriously, people can **** off with this shit.
And then you complain he won't get time, is it any wonder with those kind of stupid comments?
Seriously anyone who wants to pass judgement on Rodgers after that can **** right off.
It really doesn't matter. If the idea of the appointment was that he's a natural fit for the team then we should have seen signs of what he can do today, but we didn't. It was as lethargic and boring a performance as anything we saw under Puel in the league.
The alternative is that he should be given time to build his own team, but we haven't given any of our last three managers time to build so why should we think Brendan will be any different?
We were meant to see an instant positive reaction just from Puel not being here but on that showing we have regressed and it is a worrying sign.
Get a grip man. Ranieri and Puel were given ample time. And so was Shakespeare given that he should never have been appointed in the first place. Your narrative may suit your point but it’s not true.First half was the worst performance I've seen from us all year. Second half marginally better and then we go and give it away.

Completely agree with all of that.if we are going to play a back 3 then Soyuncu has to start not Wes, Evans on the left, Maguire central and Soyuncu right, Maguire must be in the middle of a back 3, unless we also suddenly have John Stones to play there.
Also not sure 343 works for Maddison, him behind a front 2 could work though
...One other observation: Maddison slows our play down so much. He takes far too many touches before releasing the ball.
It has been for a long timeTell you what though.
What a *ing dickpunch that late goal was. *ing idiotic front Kasper. His distribution today was generally awful.
The ball didn't make it anywhere near the 18 yard box for their winner. He dinked it about 30 yards straight to a yellow shirt. He's a liability sometimes with his distribution. He tries to be too clever when really any buffoon could have seen that his best option would have been to smash the ball down field as far as possible and watch Nacho try to control it by falling over his own feet.did schmeical have more touches than our outfield players? sorry for the sarcasm but we managed to move the ball from their 18 yard box back to Schmeical!!
