Please can we cut out all the personal abuse now please. I've been lenient so far because of the circumstances. I know a lot of people have been behaving like ****s, but there's no reason to be a **** back to them.

Bravo.

The difference is I don't think his penalty today was arrogant. It was misjudged and youthful enthusiasm in wanting to win it. A more senior player should have pulled him to one side and got someone else to take it.

A huge difference IMO.

I was more bothered by the missed rebound. I don't understand why you wouldn't just leather it hard and high from that distance. As I saw him approach the loose ball I thought we were there.

To all you pearson lover's say goodbye to Nigel Pearson and here are the reason's why he will go.
1) gave the game to Watford by substituting chris woods with Harry Kane
2) Totally inept in getting a team out of the champsionship and will always be a championship manager.
3) When Knockart got the penalty why did'nt David Nugent take it because he has scored 8 out 10 against Watford.
4) I hope that french b*****d never puts on another Leicester shirt again.
5) Big summer for the owners and Kasper schmeichel could be on his way.
6) Watford second goal our defence is like a polo with a hole in it.

PEARSON OUT

cracking post Terry, I mean such intelligence and insight. Beautiful. You're a class act.

I have to admit that when I saw Knocky pick the ball up I feared the worst, Jesus Emmanuel Beelzebub H Fecking Christ Of Monster Munch do we EVER do anything easy?

I think Knockaert deserves a bit of respect, especially for a young lad. He had the guts to take it, he misjudged it and had the decency to go straight up to the fans after the game and acknowledge his mistake. He seems genuinely gutted for the fans of the club. Anyone else seen his twitter post apologising too? He's been great for us this season and I hope he'll want to stick around as moments like today will hopefully strengthen the bond with the club. He's a talented player no doubt.

Knockaert clearly has talent. We've been fortunate enough to witness that this season.

He had the bollocks to pick up the ball and for that he needs commending, however what followed the penalty was a glimpse of his play that I've become frustrated with of late. Knockaert is clearly of the opinion that everything he touches will turn to gold, and when the penalty was saved the only thing on his mind was to try and poke it in. Why on earth didn't he just smash the ball as hard as he could of hit it?

In the first half he had a chance to shoot but chose to do too much of the fancy shit and ultimately lost possession.

He's young and I'm not going to hold this against him at all, what I would like to see from him next season is a bit more simplicity to his play because I feel we'll reap the rewards from it.

I also want NP to leave but your reasoning here is seriously flawed. The Kane for Wood change over recent games has been effective and, in isolation, was a perfectly sensible decision. He wasn't responsible for Knockaert acting like a prize cock taking the penalty opportunity away from a more reliable choice. However, this doesn't mean that Knockaert is not capable of being a very good player for us in the future. He's extremely immature, with an irritating tendency to give the ball away, but he has genuine talent.

Where I do agree is the fact that NP has had three chances now to get us promoted from this league and he's failed three times (two full seasons and one two thirds of a season). In modern history, I can't recall a City manager ever getting a fourth shot at winning promotion from this league, even without the comparative riches and budget afforded to NP.
Your comment on harry kane is interesting because we didnt hold the ball up upfront and i still think the change cost us the game

My apologies.

He was though, wasn't he?

Well said Jeff, however the keyboard warriors from other clubs coming and gloating like that is disappointing. A sad state of today's affairs, none would have the bottle to say it to our faces I don't reckon.

Feck me has it taken you this long to realise that Redditch? I expect nothing other than crushing disappointment and then the yoyo nature of LCFC offers some occasional (relative) highs to offset the lows. It's much easier that way.

This was one of my posts from about two weeks ago. It's much easier to deal with today if you adopt this mindset :icon_bigg

i totally agree but the trouble is he thinks he is christiano ronaldo

But he did come and hold the ball up well on the two other occasions he came on as sub against Watford so it was a reasonable assumption that he'd do the same today. I know he didn't but that isn't NPs fault.
