City boss Martin Allen makes just one change to the side that drew 2-2 at Crystal Palace last week for the visit of Watford to the Walkers Stadium.

In comes Iain Hume, who had started the game on the bench against the Eagles, for Shaun Newton.

Iranian right-back Hossein Kaebi is named on the bench after the club received international clearance to play the recent signing during the week.

Former Fox Jordan Stewart starts the game for the visitors.

City: Fulop, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Clarke, Hume, Clemence, Wesolowski, Sheehan, de Vries, Campbell.
Subs: Henderson, Kaebi, Kishishev, Chambers, Porter.

I think the penny might have dropped and at last Hume is playing in "the hole" as i an many have always wanted. Clem, weso, Sheehan will form a narrow but solid midfield and Hume will be given licence to roam.

For this to work the full backs need to be active and pushed up a lot.
