At least Mattock and Kenton looked as if they actually cared yesterday. Unlike some others.

I know it is not done to say anything good about Stearman but I was close to where he was playing in the 2nd half and if he was outclassed he certainly battled for every ball. Incidentally why is James Chambers out of favour. I thought he did well on the rare occasions he was played in position.

All this sarcastic whining is really begining to piss me off.

Does anybody really think that another manager would have done that much better in the past month? Really? Who?

I think Holloway is a decent sort of bloke and whilst he would not have been my first choice, fine, he's got a reasonable pedigree at this level and we've not exactly had quality managers beating down our doors. So he's our new manager: great, let's get behind him then!

We have a squad that is rotten to the core, not only in terms of quality but also in attitude. I can't believe how high the expectations are from the "New Blue Mongies" who think that somehow Holloway should have instantly made us better than the likes of WBA, Southampton, even Burnley, who have consistently finished much higher than us in the league for several years now. This is going to be a long, hard job, even though Uncle Milan "promised" us promotion in three seasons and then upped it to this season. Don't believe everything you read in the paper, and stop living in the past you NBMs!!!

Sorry to disappoint you DG, but you've just distanced yourself from Blue Mongiedom by saying that IH may not possibly be a good manager. A Blue Mongie would have said:

"Ollis is da bomb coz he makez uz laff and all sortz, hez well ace and the bezzy mngr in the world"

I've read a few of your posts on this subject, and I am beginning to think you are a bit of an idiot.

Rather than slagging off the management/fans, why don't you try and support the club, give Holloway some time to bed in his methods and ideas and stop thinking that the only reason Milan picked him was because he tells a good joke.

Given time, Holloway I believe will bring a stronger team spirit, better work ethic and more importantly, results. But come on, he needs time. People like yourself who whinge that he is not the right man, and that "the players are great, its the management thats wrong" need to take off your LCFC blinkers, pour a stiff drink into your LCFC branded glass, and calm down a little bit.

Give the man time and appreciate the fact that he is working with a large squad of misfits which is reflected in the style we are currently playing.

Well stop feeling sorry for yourself and consider what my mates and family have to suffer. You only think I'm an idiot, they have confirmation and have to live with it on a daily basis.

I wish I could have an opinion on you as well, but I didn't know you existed until now. So sorry, I can't reciprocate and join in with you on your insult trading games.

Oh come on, you don't have to know me to trade insults......you don't know Holloway but that doesn't seem to stop you.

Your mates and family have my deepest sympathy.

I thought it was a poor performance against a team which, today, was there for the beating.

Sadly I wonder if I'm the only one alarmed by Holloway's tendency to 'give everyone a go'. It smacks of a man who hasn't watched the videos. Remember Allen's confrontations with the players came after he HAD spent a lot of time seeing just how awful these guys were last year. Maybe we'll have to wait until we're in a relegation battle until Holloway's in the same position.

And am I the only one shocked by quotes like 'As a football manager you have to forget the result and focus on the performance'? I've heard excuses being made about these losers for too long. We won't have any level of success here until they're made to stand up and be counted. I hope he's the man to do it.

I'm not trading insults with Ian Holloway, you don't know my opinion on him because I have never really told anybody.

If you re-read my posts, you'll find that my main gripe is the lack of equality between the way he is treated on his poor results, compared to the way other Managers are treated on better results.

I have never once said he is a bad Manager, nor have I ever said he is the wrong man for this club. Why?, because I don't know the answer in much the same way that you don't.

Being as I'm the idiot and not you, I guess you already know this though.

There's a great video doing the rounds on YouTube featuring some Iranian wonderkid.

On the basis of the video alone, do you think he would be any good for us?

Point taken, though I'd hope that Holloway's prior viewings of Leicester City stretch beyond the ones he's found on YouTube.

I have only recently learned what a Blue Mongie is. Now Desert Fox is talking about New Blue Mongies. Are these a breakaway faction? Will someone please hurry up and publish "Talking Balls For Dummies" please.

Contradictory GF, Kenton played in midfield

I didn't say he played that well - but you could not fault his effort. He did not have the talent of the Baggies midfield to really drive the game. I thought Weso was poor (should not have played by the look of it) and Clem and the others were woeful at passing, but did get stuck in a bit.

Agree Dour, Mattock and Hayes linked up well and caused problems going forward.

I think people are desperate and willing to give him a chance - he is a more likeable chap compared to Smegson.

A real problem for me is the lack of a leader(s) on the pitch. A manager can only do so much in the pre-match and H/T team talks. Before we have had a Walsh, Taggart, Savage, Lennon - someone to keep things going and get heads up when things are not going to plan. I have not seen that type of leadership for a while now.

That's a good point GF, and in previous more successful City teams we've had more than one character like that.

The last one I can really remember was Stefan Freund.

I would hazard a guess that IH would be looking to bring in one or two leaders in January,I think he is looking at players with experience of this League

Isn't that what we signed Clemence for? He really has been crushingly disappointing thus far. Captain? Gawd help us...
