Our cheapest season ticket prices are pretty good compared to a lot of the teams in this league, it's the matchday prices that are extortionate. Most clubs' season ticket prices have nowhere near the savings ours have.
Granted, the matchday prices are horrible, but that's not to say the season tickets are worth it. Mine works out to £14 a game, which is what the mathday price should be closer to. Football in this country is not worth the money.
Example: Barcelona's website tells me that there are tickets available for their upcoming Champions League game with Shakhtar Donetsk for €30. Notts County's website tells me the cheapest adult ticket anywhere in their stadium is £18.
It's not news that British football fans are ripped off though, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. I'm just saying, season ticket savings as against matchday prices doesn't necessarily mean we're getting a good deal.
