:018: But think about it if there is more than 1,000 Wednesday fans in the Leicester end and they score someone out of that 1,000 will jump up so that will cause trouble and also if Leicester score people will notice certain fans not standing up etc and getting angry which could also cause problems.
I hope they come in the Family Stand!!!, I'm gonna drop a Mini Milk on one of their shoes!!!

some of there fans are saying that they have brought tickets in the leicester end, does not surprise me really in the least,as its very easy to obtain tickets.

one wednesday fan reckons there could be 3,000 of there lot in our end, obviously bull.

but with this game being massive for both sides, surely the club would have realized this could happen.

I've just been told 2000-3000 of theirs in our end too, by a Wendie friend who posts on various Owls forums. This could just be the same site spreading the rumours of course.

I'd have thought our on-line ticket sales would have a way of checking postcodes and stopping this.

So what happens if you live in Sheffield and you are a Leicester fan?

Or you live in Leicester and are a Sheffield Wednesday fan will they not let you in the away end :102:

There is no way to check.

They did it with the Chelsea tickets if I remember rightly.

Yes but what happens if you lived in Chelsea and you were a City fan they can't stop you. I suppose some of these people will be getting mates from Leicester to possibly buy them tickets in the Leicester end also.

If you're a Leicester fan living in Sheffield you ring the ticket office where a "human" can make a decision.

City fans can't afford to live in Chelsea, if we can, we'll already be on the guest list. Try not to worry about it.

They normally stop selling to anyone of a Sheffield post code. IMO after visiting the ticket office today, looks like they will be a fair few in our end. They asked anyone whether they were a new customer and even queried one bloke when his address was in Sheffield. I've ended up in the West Stand due to the numbers sold so far

You'll spot them easy. They will be the ones with their shoes on their feet. :icon_bigg

Games like this need to be for 'registered' supporters only. I've seen a simple procedure like this implemented at various other clubs. If your not registered by 'x' date then you don't get a ticket. Simple as that.

I undersatand your point Jeff about 'there shouldn't be trouble' - but IMO and with so much at stake, Saturday will be a very messy day.

How many we sold as i am going to be buying a ticket in the KOP for this one, better atmosphere, hope they still have tickets on the day.

Agreed :icon_evil

how many times have we heard of 'thousands' of away fans going to be in the home ends, only to be totally untrue. Cannot see it happening to be honest, although I'm sure there wil be some dotted around. We had two Bristol City fans next to us in the FA Cup game a few years ago and they were no problem at all, especially after the missus threatened them with a baseball bat. :icon_lol: :icon_wink

I didn't ask....I requested tickets in the Kop but I am stuck in one of the 'wings'/'corners' now.

There was trouble at the Sheffield derby in similar circumstance and I expect some kerfuffle Saturday if these rumours are true.
