Sounded like Maybury had a good day today?? Didn't actually see the game though...
Garbage, he single handedly cost us the game.

He hoofed every ball half a mile in the sky. He had one shot on goal, with which he should have done better and got brought down in the area in the aftermath. This is the only reason I gave him anything at all

Fair enough, like I said I didn't see it. Before this season I was a Maybury fan, he seemed decent at getting back, lacked a bit in the final third though. Seems to be getting a slating this year though.

Interesting! Porter and Jarrett both had good games, Maybury gave away the penalty and was prone to long balls but 2 is very harsh!

Hughes was pathetic and missed 2 easy chances.

Porter couldn't cross and didn't get past his man. He was totally outclassed.

Jarrett was all to often out of position, lots of his passes went astray and he missed a sitter.

If you call having a lot of the ball "good games" then Porter is your man, but he didn't do anything productive.

But you are right, I may have been too generous with Hughes' rating

He couldn't have cost us the game as we didn't lose.
I would explain what I meant but you are either picking up on my posts just to be difficult or you genuinely are thick. Either way, it's pointless explaining it to you

Porter caused the full back a lot of problems and was made to panic on several occasions. He also got a few good crosses in. He didn't gave a great game but certainly wasn't poor.

Jarrett did all the donkey work for Johnson while he stolled around the centre circle. He also did a lot of good things, made some important tackles and some good passes.

Only Hughes and Maybury had poor games but nothing new there!

PS If I'm thick you must be Stephen Hawkins. (I'm not being picky but I just think you seem to be very harsh on your views of Jarrett and Porter generally.)

So you agree that 4 isn't far off what you would give Porter then, so I don't see your issue :102:

Ps I didn't say you were thick :icon_wink

Maybury 3
Kisnorbo 9 - MOTM? always solid.
Mcauley 8 - solid apart from a couple of mistakes
Nissa 7 - not bad, but not his best game

Jarrett 4 - his performance was awful, gave the ball away too much.
Hughes 6 - average, very average
Johnson 8 - looked a lot better than usual, played well +was very tidy.
Porter 6 - not his best game, failed to trouble too much.

Hume 6 - bad game, his injury was the main thing and shudve been taken off.
Horsey 7 - not brilliant, but not bad.

Did put the free-kick on MacAuley's bonce for the goal, though...

Hendo 8 - Some fantastic saves, played well.

Maybury 4 - Stupid challenge, and wasnt his usual self.
Kisnorbo 8 - grate game, did little wrong.
Mcauley 8 - MOTM imo, fantastic finish, hardly put a foot wrong.
Nissa 7 - Another good game, got forward well, some vital challenges.

Jarrett 5 - can tackle but nothin else
Hughes 6 - Average
Johnson 8 - Worked his socks off all match, fantastic game.
Porter 5 - Some stupid decisions, never threatened to go past his man.

Hume 6 - His injury held him back, should have been taken off.
Horsefield 7 - Unlucky as the ref would not give him any slack. Played well.

Ref- 0- Worst Ref this year! Terrible decisions and wouldnt give Horsefield any slack when it came to holding off his men. Shocking dislpay!

6 would probably be fairer. He had an average to good performance. 4 suggests he is in Maybury's 'class'! I would say apart from the Penalty that he gave away that Maybury was not even as bad as Hughes. Controversial I know!
