You missed post #19?

No, but RHYDAL's was funnier as his Autumn remark implied we would be eligible for inclusion at an earlier stage that your December comment did :icon_bigg

That's not a new ground, they've been playing there for decades. You should see the convoluted route people take to get there though, they must get the directions from BM.

:icon_cool I bet I can get there cheaper.

I think our Welsh friend was suggesting we'd be relegated so would be in the first round draw.

I have no Welsh friends. I make a special point of it.

Touché - although I do question your definition of the word 'funny'.

The Talking Balls definition of 'funny' appears to be very different to the English definition. I think someone even said I was funny once :icon_eek:

Now I think of it, I might be missing a few words out.

When I worked in Leicester a lot of companies used to be open on Good Friday (but closed on Monday and Tuesday), even though most of the country had the Friday off. Does this still happen?

Its mostly changed to Friday /Monday now Jeff. My company and its suppliers all take the Friday.

It was a manufacturing company I worked for, and our suppliers in Leicester nearly all worked the Friday, but had Tuesday off. We couldn't do any business with suppliers/customers in the rest of the country though because they were closed on the Friday.
It always felt odd being at work when football matches were being played in other parts of the country.

"manufacturing" in the loosest terms :icon_lol:

So nice to be back to having Good Friday/Easter Monday off !!
