a very contrasting game. i was bored out of my skull and VERY dissapointed with the leicester fans efforts in the first half. but as you say the second 45 mins were entertaining. I thought Maybury was OK today, he was often at right back covering for Stearman, and was trying to motivate the players and get them going, like a good captain should.
As for Williams, although he spent far too much of the game not being involved, i thought he was effective when he got the ball, and kept posession well. Lets face it, Hughes hasn't played to his capabilities, and without Williams in the middle, we'd be complaining that theres not enough creativity. Welsh on the left, joey and williams in the centre and maybury on the right next week IMO

Amazing goal and Williams an amazing waste of space! He never gets stuck in, well off the pace, useless bag of shite!

Joey you were amazing. His second goal was probably better but no will ever forget the first one. Blows Nalis's goal against Leeds out of the water.

First half was shite. I thought someone had let Levein back in!

Slow, lumping the ball up to our two forwards who were both a foot shorter and two stone lighter than the centre-backs, so never ever won the ball. Nobody even pretending to be a winger. The closest Hughes got to the wing was when he came on to the pitch and when he left it!

Second half full of pace like a cup match, totally different team, apart from Hughes and Williams!

to be honest i thought Joey was shit up until he scored his first goal.
Every pass he attempted was going out of play or to there players. After this goal his game lifted.

I've been watching City since 1970 and I cannot recall an LCFC player scoring from within his own half for us before.

Just wonderful.

And yes, Williims was woeful, showing an utter lack of determination and bottle. He harldy broke into a canter throughout the game.

I laughed like a drain in the 2nd half when Rogers fell over, with stumpy legs waggling in the air and Maybury swept past him to put a shot in on goal
