I like Dick Dale too, a bit of surf guitar never hurt anyone, prefer Link Wray though, bit more gritty

I think it's one of those albums that you can just come back to time and time again and undoubtedly improves with age. I just never seem to get bored with it, unlike a lot of music which I need to be 'in the mood for'. Pet Sounds is great anytime.

I think it's one of those albums that you can just come back to time and time again and undoubtedly improves with age. I just never seem to get bored with it, unlike a lot of music which I need to be 'in the mood for'. Pet Sounds is great anytime.

Maybe, i can enjoy the surf pop sound, but it jsut doesn't make me feel anything like i think it's supposed to. A similar thing for My Bloody Valentine's Loveless aswell, i can appreciate the swirling guitar noise, but i just don't feel anything
