Documentary about Pete Doherty pn BBC2 tonight at 10.45pm

I like Pete Doherty,and i enjoy watching interviews with him, I always end up with the impression that he is very misunderstood. But then you see him in the news for doing something totally alien to the person that you see on the interview.

I don't know wether he needs help or needs shooting. I only hope he can get himself sorted out. If he was happy being what he is, then I'd say so "So what, he's enjoying himself", but he quite clearly isn't

I don't like the bloke. If he can sort himself out, I'll have a lot more respect for him and I would watch his interviews. From the interviews I have seen, he does seem a different person to when he is seen in the newspapers. I'm not a big fan of his music either. Oh, and he gets to bonk Kate Moss.

I agree with you MF and heres me thinking I'm the only person on here who thinks he's Ok.I try to judge him on his lyrics and what I actually hear him say rather than what the press write about him

Some of it yes, but mainly because I don't like The Babyshambles and I didn't like The Libertines. If it was an interview with an artist I liked then I would watch it.

I can't profess to knowing much of the material from either bands, I do admit to finding him interesting though. I have NEVER once read anything in the newspaper about him, maybe that's why I have no pre conceived ideas or judgements on him

I've got a couple of their albums on my PC, my mate told me to listen to them songs because he thinks those 2 songs will make me like them. It didn't work.
