Decided to dust off Tenacious D: Tribute and put it in the car. Some quality songs even if they are tongue in cheek!

Tenacious D, I don't get whats so good about them. I heard a few of their songs, they were complete rubbish IMO.

If it's as funny as their records I'd be more inclined to see The Santa Clause 3.

You wanna check out Stars, Apostle of Hustle and Metric, members of BSS come and go and these are some of their bands.

I'm listening to alot of Daniel Johnston, saw a documentary about him, the man is an awesome song writter, seriously messed up mind.

Cheers, I'll remeber to check them out sometime...

The funniest/saddest bit of the Daniel Johnston film is the bit about when he was in a two seater plane and his dad was the pilot, Daniel thought the plane was possessed by the devil mid-flight and took the key out of the plane's ignition and threw it out the window! Luckily both survived due to his dad's piloting skills.

Daniel makes some beautifully fragile music, True Love Will Find You In The End and Devil Town being my personal favourites.

It's good singalong stuff:

"I'll be punching a donkey in the streets of Galway"

After the crash that sign outside the church was freaky. 'God will ensure a safe landing but a turbulant journey.' I love, Don't let the sun go down on your greviance, beautiful.

He's a crazy mixed up kid as they say. Did you see that he was flogging all his paintings on the internet recently? I'll see if I can dig out the link if you're interested?

A preview of Bloc Party's new album, out next year

Why does every band now seems determined to say the line

'Like the 'x decade' never happened'

Elbow have done the 60s
Bloc Party do the 80s
I am should I have read someone do the 90s
