U2 utter wankers now.

Ox's post only illustrates one reason. They recently sued a woman over possession over their clothes from a tour in yesteryear. I read that they charged a month's wage from a ticket to a gig in Rio, Brazil. Then when asked to put items forward to auction, all they could muster was a 'guitar' which fetched no more than the average wage in a year. They have thousands of fecking guitars. Do they care for places in poverty? My Arse. If there was an upper class in Africa, they would do stadiums there.

NOT Joy Division

Have just been listening to them though...

Sofa Song-The Kooks
A Pocketful Of Stones-David Gilmour
Boys-The Beatles
Simple Song-Richard Ashcroft
Shaft-Isaac Hayes
Carrot Cake And Wine-Stereophonics
Assasin-Muse
Dirty Dancehall-The Zutons
Sir Psycho Sexy-Red Hot Chili Peppers
Whistle For The Choir-The Fratellis

now thats variation!

:038: Absolute classic.

Agreed with the both of you..

I personally really like U2.. I think I have the best of 1985-1995 album lying around somewhere.. some brilliant songs on it..

I also caught a bit of that show on last night, about halfway through 'where the streets have no name' I have to say I thought it sounded like a really good performance and I will probably go and see them next time they tour the UK.

On a different music related matter - I found out Bon Jovi's next album may well be out mid-next year! Great news if it's true as a new Jovi album usually comes around every 2-3 years. Another tour next year would be friggin' marvelous  :thumbs_up

currently listening to:

Bon Jovi - Lie To Me

To add the fifth one down is the best.

A very good Live version of it. It seems this was used for the trailer on the film Marie Anttoine (sp?).

EDIT: I think have just found a link for it.

(as far as I know...)

All male, English/American, and apart from Isaac Hayes, white, doing 'rock' of one kind or other. Where are the women? Where's the blues, folk, hip hop, drum and bass, Bhangra, reggae etc...

Although I admit it is very varied compared to Shaun's playlist :icon_wink
