One of the few bands in the country who can count on a mainstream audience but aren't scared to push it a bit.

Anyways, Cribs album started off cracking and then just slowly gets disappointing. Nonetheless, smashing stuff.

I like the Smiths too and I've only just started listening to Morrissey solo, I suppose that's why I like the Smith-esque songs like "First of the gang", "Boy Racer", "Suedehead", "International playboys" etc.

I've had the same worry for the past 20 years or more Hazz. Try not to worry about them too much, they tend to cop on and grow out of it.

For me its less about Moz and his lyrics and waving daffodils around, as a band the Smiths were awesome musicians and made some music that people wil hopefully continue to listen to.

I have seen first hand the effect listening to too much to Morrisey and idolising can do to someone. Constantly wearing a shirt and tiecombo, arrogantly reckoning they are the best thing since sliced bread and have an obsession with daytime television programmes.
