Sounds like Supernature by Cerrone. Presumably that's deliberate.

It feels like olden days to me. Getting back from a night out, smashed out my face, listening to St Etienne. It might sound different, but it reminds me of stuff we used to listen to at the end of a night (St Etienne, Joey Beltram, A Guy Called Gerald, etc).

I like it.

Amazed that Spion, who was was watching Phantom of the Opera this afternoon...

It was enjoyable, but if I hadn't seen the DVD first (or at least had knowledge of the story) it would have been totally confusing. People were saying as much in the bar at half time!

Anyway, the second best musical entertainment of yesterday was the Dortmund fans who had taken over Trafalgar Square and much of the bars and pubs around there. They were magnificent, bravo, shame they lost out.

Probably, the whole album is a homage to the early days of electronic music, I think.

You should give the whole album a listen, not normally what I listen to but everyone has been talking about it and I'm not one to stand up to peer pressure.

Sorry Swede, I meant the whole album, not just the track you posted. I should have been more clear, but in fairness I did fairly well to post anything at all.

Oh if you didn't know this is the Shag they are talking about

while we're at it, the best band in the world ever, according to Frank Zappa;

Frank did take acid in industrial quantities 'tho. It does have a certain charm having said that but I think acid would help the listening experience.

The Shaggs were decent, but The Raincoats were miles better.
