Hey I've got most of them. That'll give you a bit of street cred around these parts MoFo

Just so you know Spion that list of mine was the 10 tracks played one after another from the same Radio Sheffield show I put up 10 tracks last week, that you commented was like one of your lists.
Only last week was towards the beginning of the show, whereas this week it was during the last hour of the show.

Glad to hear your radio's working well Motown. Is there, I wonder, anywhere in Yorkshire it works less well?

Would John Grant appeal to me Blaarev? I must admit I've never heard of him.

Well Rufus Wainwright doesn't turn me off so I may be OK :icon_wink

Just YouTubed "I Hate This Town" and it isn't obnoxious!

Try GMF (which is short for Greatest MotherFucker) and Glacier too

John Grant is great.

I loved The Queen of Denmark. Didn't realise he had a new record out.

My favourite track was "Sigourney Weaver".

I've not listened to either album yet, that pleasure is for later! When looking at review sites it seems that a lot of people preferred the first album though due partly to the second having too much 'electro-synth'.

If you don't like 'electro-synth' I can understand that, but I think that it adds something extra and is not out of place. It's Biggi Veira from the Icelandic electro collective Gus-Gus who has produced Pale Green Ghosts. For The Queen of Denmark, the Texane indie band Midlake was his backing band.

I do electro-synth, I've got Erasure in my collection :icon_bigg

Started off and I thought it was a bit 'elevator muzakish' but am on "Chicken Bones" now and am starting to enjoy it!

Some days just chicken bones
You'd better **** off now, you'd better leave me alone
'Cause I'm about to explode, just like a Wonder bread bomb

Wonderful stuff. Better than one of Macky's spliff induced highs :icon_bigg
