Yes, it was a rash decision that has so far been foolish. Bought a PS3 which I personally think is crap in comparison to the 360.

Not that I can see, in fact fewer games will run at 1080i, most will only run at 720p, might be my TV but its a Sony Bravia :icon_roll
The online gaming is about 8 years behind the 360. The games arent a patch on the 360's due to nobody developing anything worthwhile. Anything that is worthwhile is generally a port from the 360 and ends up being worse for it.
Gran Tourismo 5 Prologue looked like being superb but in truth its not as good in terms of graphics or gameplay as PGR4.
The only thing better about it is its quieter and the media server options are better.
