Look, none of us have seen the barbeque equipment in question - it might be top class, e.g. hand-tooled hard wood handles with forged stainless steel blades, for example. I think its far too early in MA's reign to draw conclusions on the quality of the barbeque utensils.

But MA said it cost £3.99, so I think it's safe to assume it isn't of the highest quality.

I'm waiting to see what happens on the pitch because in any analysis, nothing else matters.

PS Not keen on Mars Bars. Can I have Smarties, please.

You should know in football some of the best aquisitions don't come with the highest price tag.

However, I think it would be irresponsible of MA to be offering BBQ equipment without protective heat resistant gloves. I'd hate to think that Matty Fryatt misses the start of the season with burn blisters to his hands.

thing is he hasn't won the bbq yet. Its just a hunch but i think he will dish out the safety equaipment once someone wins the utensils and the bbq to complete the set, otherwise it may end up being a wate of safety equipment.

how can he possibley be out of his depth when we havn't played 1 competitive game of ball since he took charge.

what a stupid poll.

Whilst I'm not impressed with the sort of nonsense he is talking and allegedly organising in training - I recognise that all this counts for nothing.

What matters as always are the results obtained - and we shall start to see those shortly. However, we do need to take account that his will be a largely new team and squad and allowance and time needs to be given.

It would be interesting to compare results of this poll with another at the end of November.

In all truth the can be as many gimmicks and PR stunts as Allen and the club likes but all that positivity will soon be lost if we get off to a poor start.

So far Allen has done as well as can be expected of a new manager who as yet to play a competitive match of any description.

The true measure of Allen will be how his team show in the pre season and then moving on into the real competitive action of the championship.

i'm excited for the new season, but so was i last year when i was under the opinion our choice of manager was wrong....i just get eager for the new season. not sure what to think of allen, he's different to our last few managers (has personality for a start) but i think he could be a good change. the attitude of our players in recent times has been shocking and i wonder if that will ever change or whether he would have to start paying them by performance for them to try, it remains to be seen. we've signed enough players so far to convince me the squad wont be as bad as it was last year, even cort is a pleasing improvement on hammond.

if we finish with 1 point more than last season in the coming campaign and our players trying i will be much happier.

the only people at the moment who can judge if the difference is better is surely the players, come the end of august/september i reckon we'll have a better idea. if all goes badly of course we can sack our manager after plymouth away on 2 September as that is the game of late which does it

Of course it's early days but a poor start to the season will not endear him to MM or the fans. I give him a dozen games to prove himself before the praise/discontent comes to the fore.

Got to say i'm very impressed by the way he handles himself. He know that with his "excentric" way it get the fans on side. He show passion and committment, but also show that he won't stand any messing either. Though he can only really be judge on results.

I am impressed. For the first time in ages I actually feel like I am part of Leicester City Football Club. I think that his honesty and openness, especially on the OS, has given fans a connection with what is going on at the club.

i must admit i like the stuff that he writes on the os it makes a welcome change from 'we are we are...were working hard to put it right on the training ground' bollux that kelly used to spout..yeah ma sounds like he has escaped from the local loony house but its been far too long since weve had a manager who has been slightly off the wall or one who has communicated with the fans but while i like reading his comments results are the only thing that matters..im not that overly impressed by the signings so far tbh most of which ive either not heard of or seen play so ill wait until ive seen them play before making my judgements..no doubt some of those who think the sun shines out of his arse will soon change their tune should we not win a game in the first month...but thats what fans are like - fickle...you cant please them all

Results are crucial but I am confident that if MA has got them motivated, they will turn in high powered performances that will win games even if does not look pretty to start with. On paper, not having ever seen most of our new players play, they appear to be at least as good as the players they are replacing. Kaebi in particular looks excellent from the videos, providing he is strong enough to survive Championship games!

Absolutely, I think we need to look at the fact that many of the signings may well have been MM's rather than MA's, so maybe, when the time comes, we need to judge them in tandem.

while its good to see what kaebi has done in the past (via youtube) it doesnt mean to say he is going to reproduce it for us..it could take him months to settle in and by that time he may have been villified by some fans expecting the same results that theyve seen on youtube in the first game of the season
