I'm in the dark ages here, I steadfastly refuse to use a dicataphone ( insert unhumerous edits here, you wasters ) and write all my letters in longhand to be typed by one of our young fillies here. I still believe that the finished letter is far far better my way as you can see it taking shape and ensure the thing makes sense.

I have but I have to go through an enhanced CRB (?) check,although I have no criminal record or anything I'm the type that is never confident until its all sorted.They are doing the check now but it takes a while.I only have to give a weeks notice but I saw no point in cutting my nose off to spite my face so I gave a month.I detest the job with a passion but now I can see a light at the end of this particular tunnel then I can get through the next 3 weeks or so,plus I can call the shots with days/time off now with them,I know they are really short staffed.I hope to start the new job at the front end of August

Like I say I've no criminal record at all and I've known people with criminal records who have got through it,as long as its not relevent to the job it doesn't matter.However I'll still be happier when I've got it sorted and have a start date etc,they are doing the references this week but they should be fine.

Just booked a holiday for me and the missus the first week in October. Flight leaves at 19:55 on saturday oct 3rd so i can still get to coventry away!!!
