Nice on ted!

I did A-Level English Language. Thought it was a right bastard of a subject. Was convinced i'd ****ed up on it but ended up with a decent grade.

Same here E-Dawg, I think my coursework grade dragged it up.

and they've got the cheek to say that A levels are getting easier, that's unpossible

Men have a thing called Intelligance. It means they know what there talking about. A trait sadly lacking in women. Its a genetic thing i think.

Sumink to do with the size of our brains I think.

My lack of effort at school led to me selling sexual favours to strangers and dealing drugs. I resolve most of my issues with fighting and drinking.

Hard to believe that kinda thing goes on E-Dawgydawd.

This is a sentence without a verb.

'Lack' is a verb. Granted, it's a disgrace of a sentence; it lacks a subject. It would have been more or less grammatically correct (if not factually) if it had been phrased thusly: "This is a trait sadly lacking in women." As I'm sure you're aware, 'this' is never a verb.

The "lacking" here is an adjective. :icon_conf

Isn't it a incomplete sentence using the present progressive tense rather than an adjective?

(I may well be wrong. I was only taught English grammar as part of German lessons)

From Dictionary.com:

"–verb (used without object)
5. to be absent or missing, as something needed or desirable: Three votes are lacking to make a majority. "

But also:

"–adjective
2. wanting; deficient: He was found lacking in stamina."

If it referred to 'women' (see the second example), it would indeed be an adjective, but it doesn't. It refers to 'intelligance' (see first example), whatever that is :icon_bigg

I think we need to get enderby fox's opinion on this before we can settle it, he does have a good grade at English A level after all.
