Good to hear you enjoyed it. A friend of mine saw Muse at the Emirates last week and had a great time. What did you make of the Emirates as a gig venue?

As a venue it's superb. The stewards were well organised outside to stop any queue jumping. There were plenty of food and drink outlets and no queues for the toilets. We were out of the stadium very quickly and the police in the streets were helpful, sorted the crowds out quickly and easily and had a good laugh and some great banter. The whole thing, apart maybe from the lack of tube stations,
although that was more down to TFL than anything, was very well organised. Lots of vendors going into the crowds to sell food and drinks. I would certainly recommend it.

Derren Brown at De Montfort last night. He was awesome. So funny and entertaining and the tricks and manipulation of situations were completely captivating.

My colleague went and said she wished she hadn't, said it ruined it for her.

Saw Muse last week and concur with the above. Apart from the random closure of tube stations after the concert, the venue itself is excellent with superb facilities and set-up. Its frightening just how much better they are than at the KP.

Peter Murphy doing a 35th anniversary Bauhaus set at the Rescue Rooms. Considering you can't move in towns and cities for little black-draped nouveau goths there were none, just lots of old fat and bald people. Damn you, time. Damn you to Hell.

Just over six hours until the gates open........... :note2::034::041::clock:

I went and seen Rod Stewart at the LG last night. An absolutely fantastic show. He interacted with the crowd, he sang the classics, and his new stuff was good too. Recommended.

The boss?

Oh yes. Just over three hours of genius without a break. Bruce is superb but Clarence Clemons son is fantastic too!

Bruce and the E Street Band. A living legend. How many other performers give so much to the crowd yet leave the crowd yearning for even more?

I can die a happy man now.

I feel that I should clarify that I was suggesting that it could be arranged for you to have your own page on wiki. Any notion that I would involve myself in your untimely departure is wide of the mark

You've had your chances in the past. When you introduced me to Nottingham I thought that may have been my time :icon_lol:

I'm sat at Wrigley Field waiting for the Chicago Cubs game to start, we aren't big baseball fans but always catch a live game when we're in the USA on holiday.

Did you deliberately choose to watch a game between two terrible teams out of habit after watching City for so many years?

(Wrigley Field is a stadium I'd love to go to by the way)
