If we hadn't sold Connelly we'd be in the top half and talking about the playoffs.
Granted some of his decisions are strange, but he's had to change a whole squad in a year while cutting the wage bill. He's bought in young players might actually be worth something in two years!

He's made mistakes this season, but (i'm hoping) he's learning from them.

I remain very shaken by Tuesday's substitutions, but I still back CL. As the tennis player says, there is no alternative - if he were to go/be pushed I would imagine Robert Kelly would get the job till the end of the season. Anyone who thinks Newell would come - well, to be honest their opinion can be safely dismissed.

What Tuesday changed for me is that I would not now be that bothered if he were to depart, but he still remains the best of a bad bunch of options IMHO. Gerrbrand is genuine quality at least. I hope we get more Swedes, the two we've had in our history have worked out very well!
