Think he recognises too that if the players can get anything like the amount of vocal support shown in the second half on Tuesday night then there's more chance of them playing better!

:038:

I think he recogineses that since he has been messing with our club we have gone down the shitter - and it looks bad for him.

I've been to the same number as Beaumont.

Which makes this little 'coach thing a bit suspect IMO. Because the fans which have been Sunderland to Plymouth, Cardiff to Norwich are not the ones getting rewarded, the fans who have had to sit through the shite all season. They were already booked up and travel arrangements made for Preston. So the hard-core miss out

There should be a system to reward these guys more.

you dont go to away games so who are you to say anything Hazza?

This is my first away game, how many you been to?

talking bollux again FF......:018:

Hardly. Don't you find it slightly coincidental that as soon as there is a real threat of relegation Milan suddenly does something nice - even though he's now had months and months of time in which he could have previously done this.

Surely your not that naive? Or is it a case of can't see the wood for the trees?

why the hell are you under the impression that MM has to do anything for the fans. can i just ask how many times the previous regime provided free travel to an away game.

buying such a ****ed up club and saving your football team (in the long run) would fall under the category of doing something nice in my eyes.

People really piss me off when they are so ungreatful.

When have I said he has to do this for the fans?

The money spent on this is nothing when you consider he has saved £5,400,000 million on his initial offer for the club.

And why would he choose to do this now? When Randy learner took over the Villa he did it almost Immediately, for Chelsea away!

If this was Tim Davis announcing this you would be ripping it to shreads.

I don't think so. Why don't you stop trying to be so arrogant and see the blindingly obvious?

Don't really think MM has 'messed' with our club, FF. Why do you think this?

Even if he had only provided the coaches because of the relegation fight becoming real, why and how does that undermine the gesture?

IMO it's a sign that Milan is trying really hard to lead the way for everyone at the club trying to pull together at this crucial time, which is what we need.

And the point about TD, I don't really think that would have made any difference to the reception of the gesture. Why do you think that?

I have to agree with that. Unless you're Milan Mandaric or Iain Hume, it appears that you'll get a lot of shit for being connected with LCFC at the moment, regardless of whether it's your fault or not.

But anything that gets more people going has got to be a good thing, surely? I can't see the logic in questioning the motives... in fact, I hope it IS a cynical attempt to simply improve the atmosphere in order for us to hopefully stay up. That shows a "prepared to do what it takes" attitude which we certainly need at the moment.

But anyone who thinks this is MM being "nice" is just plain naive.

you dont make millions by giving loads of your money away do you. i just find it hard to digest when people moan about things like this, its ridiculous.

I dont think he has really done it intentionally, but you can't deny that all the messing around and the take over Saga has almost certinally had a negitive effect on our season (This was proven by our good run of form just after he took over, and by the interviews given by the players)

Even if he had only provided the coaches because of the relegation fight becoming real, why and how does that undermine the gesture?

I guess it doesn't really - I just feel that this might be Milan's way of attempting to divert any negitive press towards him.

I think it would have - some people have a serious mis-trust of TD imo. It's like MM is HUme and TD is Maybury.

maybe that tells you something about their performances in their jobs?

Im not moaning about it as such. But I feel a lot of people are just taking this at face value - when IMO its more of a markerting exercise.

Im happy more people will be able to go to the match, and I hope it does improve the Atmosphere tomorrow, enough so we can at least get something out of the game.
