This is the saddest thing about it. We, the fans are the lifeblood of the team. The team are in our hearts and the financiers running the game know it.

With a few noble exceptions, players are just mercenaries these days and don't have a fraction of the passion that we do for our club.

As a follower of LCFC for more years than I care to mention, I'd like to think that I'd renew regardless, however, the cost of my ticket is going to rise (I'm one of those anomolies they want to iron out), that coupled with a 100 mile round trip each week, to watch league one football.
