I remember McLintock destroying the squad and playing style that Bloomfield had developed. he brought in the original Dad's Army as well. All great players in their time, but did nothing at City.

Another bad Board decision, the same as Taylor and Kelly.

Taylor would run FM very close and get's the vote as the manager that wasted the most money (by a long way).

i thought it was only fair if we had an opportunity to vote for any of the managers since the time of gillies as i doubt many were down the city much before that-not because i think they were bad-its about being given a fair choice.

peter taylor for me beacause of the amount of money he wasted on shite players.

Agreed.

In reality McLintock had a problem in that fine manager as Jimmy Bloomfield was - he inherited a squad on the wane.

Kelly and Levein have both been managers quite unable to take the club forward and are both big misses.

However, Taylor stands in a category of his own. He inherited success and destroyed it by sheer bad judgement..and nearly finished off Leicester City by his financial mismanagement. That said - and has we have previously discussed - the board were also responsible and a bunch of idiots to let Taylor waste all that money.

I have no hesitation in voting for Peter Taylor. He (and the incumbent Board) acted in such a way that the Club has yet to recover from his folly.

As bad as the Mclintock season was I would agree he inherited a squad past its best whereas Taylor started with a squad that needed little management which should when we went top of the premiership. He then proceeded to dismantle the team and waste all the money gained through the successful MON period.

So its :068:Taylor for me

Got to be Taylor. Had the opportunity to spend loads and build a great side, but instead chose to waste it and set us on the road to where we are today.

McClintock................ I would still have words with him if I saw him
