Who would you prefer we signed?

Which (realistic) striker would you most like us to sign?

Rhydal you must be absolutely gutted about this.
It's a strange familiar feeling. Nathan Blake, Earnie, Jerome and now Chopra walk for the cash.
Just hope Jonesy knows what he's doing and has a next big thing waiting in the wings. Don't think Fowler is it though.

In fairness paid £0.5m and sold for £5m. Good business if he can make the money work and bring another 20 a year finisher through. Fear he's left it a bit late to go shopping.

Really? Why?
Of all the possibilities I've heard bandied around (including Fowler, Heskey, Campbell, even Stern John on Chopras arrival) Vine is the one I've seen who has really impressed. Not sure if he can be torn away from St Andrews but bought for £2.5m from Luton and we can now afford him with change.

funny that, the birmingham fans on the bbc website were saying they would rather see the 'static' rowan vine leave than the agile 2nd highest goal scorer dj campbell.

When Bruce signed him mid season he had already scored 14 goals for a struggling Luton side, as well as having a bag full of assists. With Thompson side-lined we need a more physical player up front to bolster the diminutive figures of Green and his former team mate Feeny. Would also make a good foil for Fowler in the event....

Anyway, since when has anything Brum supporters have to say been worth a Jodrell?

Its noticable that the votes are coming in more for Campbell now and less for Fowler - the gap has narrowed. He was way in the lead initially.

Definitely DJ Campbell for me although I would have alos liked to have seen Job come to City too....
