DJ Campbell first choice, JD job second choice, Robbie Fowler no where near.

Fully agree. Everyone knows that Fowler was once in an entirely different class to the rest, but everything about the way his current move is being handled suggests an almost frenetic attempt at a last pay out.

Just a week ago he was trying to suggest that there had been no offers - since then he has started even more hawking and I don't think this is about a bit of post-Liverpool ambition.

D J Campbell probably isn't prem material - which is obvious because Bruce is prepared to lose him - but he is likely to score goals for us and try to prove a point.

I wouldn't mind getting one Premier League youngster in on loan - Muamba for instance at Brum was great for them last season. However, I am glad we are seemingly not going down the route of signing four or five players in on loan. Loans are great if you are Birmingham or Derby and you get promotion. They are not so great if you are Leeds and you fail to make promotion and then you are left with half of your team ripped apart.
