I voted yes, but you could replace the name MM for anybody with a successful experience of running a football club and have shit loads of wonga to invest

if it means having someone running the club that knows how to do this, then yes!

Yeah buy us, get Redknapp, Quashie, Redknapp Jnr, Ricardo Fuller and some Libyan goalkeeper in and watch us fly...

No, not too sure about the cut of his jib ( whatever that means ). Also, it ain't gonna happen.

I think the vote was meant as an 'Inprinciple' thing I think we'd all want to know the ins and outs before commiting fully.

I can't believe so many people have voted yes without knowing any details about any potential takeover.

Would people still vote yes if Mandaric thinks the best way to make money from the deal would be to put prices up by 30% and ground share with the Tigers?

The proposed ground share with the Tigers made perfect sense. It would be the same 'stick in the muds' who form the minority anarak army that would oppose that.

If there was a realistic chance of City competing again at a high level or to help fund and roar on a promotion charge - people would pay more money - its the law of economics. At the moment, supporters are paying money to see absolute crap; most people would pay more to see something worth watching.

Really?

Looking at the votes a lot of the people who strongly opposed the ground share have voted yes, and people who supported the ground share have voted no/unsure.

I agree. Things can't be much worse than paying £25 to watch shit. I would pay that bit more to see us challenging again. And besides, considering the club is now back in the hands of "the fans" - it didn't take them long to come up with the idea of a new strip every year for five years whilst claiming that it is the "cheapest shirt/kit for ten years" (or whatever). We are still being overcharged right now for being a Leicester fan.

I'm in the voting pattern noted above. Also, with all due deference to Redditch Fox, I would guess that fans were very roughly split 50/50 on the groundshare, or perhaps slightly in favour. I would be interested if MM were to make an approach, but said that the groundshare would be part of his plans, how many currently in favour of MM would change their opinion of him taking over. Quite a few, I would suggest.

I think if anybody says no this would not be a good thing they are crazy, not being funny but the club is not going anywhere at the moment without something serious happening, investment is what is needed. At the moment we havnt got a pot to p*ss in. I really hope this comes off, its time to take a risk id rather see us try and it go pear shaped than plod along - he who dares wins.
