Does he know his best XI though? Does he leave out doubting Thomas or Judas?

I'm led to believe Judas handed in a transfer request when Sousa was here, apparently he doesn't like people with an iflated opinion of themselves!

When I heard Sousa had been sacked earlier, my thoughts were that I really wouldn't be suprised to see Pearson come back, or for us to get Bryan Robson.

But that was before I heard about Sven and O'Neill...

Two of my best mates are Southamption and West Ham fans. They think Pardew is an excellent choice for our predicament. I agree. But would rather see O'Neill

After strong rumours concerning MON and Sven, Pardew could well be the biggest anticlimax the footballing world has ever seen

I'm a big Pardew fan.... can't see why others aren't? He's done brilliantly at most of his clubs.

I have this awful feeling that this is what is going to happen... I hope I am wrong :icon_cry:

Well thats thrown the cat amongst the pigeons. turd and turd again, utter shite. Pardew no, doesn't feel right. i can't get rid of the dread of Dowie, no inside information, just a terrible feeling.

Pardew or Curbishly would be good (and realistic) choices

MON coming back to 'save' City would be amazing, but theres about a 5% chance of it happening

If the Thais have anything approaching 'Sven' money, I would rather they spent it on players and got a decent manager, rather than paying the swedish lothario for another shor-term posting

WE NEED STABILITY NOW!

Edgar Davids.. oh no MM already played that card!

The Thai's are making the calls now, no doubt using MM's considerable Managerial Scouting network... which all means it still could be Nigel Worthington on a permanent basis.

I don't think we should be using the word 'permanent.'

I can't be arsed to do the research, but you like doing things like this, so can you tell how long the managers have been at each Championship club? I can't think of many that have been there longer than 2 or 3 years (the same as Pearson was here).
