Why the talk about kelly going? all the manager s that have been touted about are total and utter dog toffey! most fo them will spend loads on has beens and are basically bollocks at the job that is why they can not get A JOB.
I say give RK a fair crack of the whip if MM has the dosh why the rush this season or next time will be on our side to build a solid team to go up and stay up, I m sorry but the most of the threads about possible managers are bollocks.:098:

True

As, indeed, is this one

All our threads are bollox, there's no need to single out any individual threads. "We're in it together"

Recent events have shown that to be bollox. ;) Why the race for Kelly to go? Other Managers have made better use of the resources they have. ;)

Why Hazzman?

Because Mandaric like his own men in charge and he wants (not this season) immediate success. I forsee a future if we were without Mandaric that Kelly would done reasonable but over 3 years our movement would be minimal and Kelly would improve his management but it wouldn't be want Mandaric wants.

He wants success fairly quickly. As we don't whether he's buying the stadium or not, at the current situation he wants in Premier where there is a 50 million windfall now and the stadium rent is lower.

From all the leaks from MM staff about the takeover, it is obvious that MM is not going to be the silent, wallflower at the party type. He wants to succeed, i.e. make loads of money by getting us up into the Premiership Sky gravy trough. But he is quite happy to be very public about it and I think he will look for a more media interesting manager with RK as assistant/head coach.

Bring on Kevin Keegan and we would be luving it!

He is also obviously keen on being a fans hero

Therefore if he thinks that the general feeling is to stick with what we've got and have a look at the end of the season, then he will do so

But if we cock up the next few games, and the bonehead army start to get restless, then Kelly will be out the door before you can say "Alain Perrin's Blue and White Army"........

Perhaps MM will bring in another familiar face

Amidst this period there were also off the field changes. David Deacon, who had been instrumental in attracting Milan Mandaric to the club, had become his first Chief Executive, but along with things not going how the Serbian anticipated on the field, they were also not progressing as he would have liked off of it. The new owner was fiercely pro-active on the supporter front and for the first time in decades the fans had a man who came along to their meetings and who endeared himself to them on the public relation front. Deacon stepped to one side to concentrate more on the issue of the stadium rebuilding project which was gathering pace and Barrie Pierpoint, a man well known in football circles from his time at Leicester City, was brought in to re-generate and build the club off the field.

I keep agreeing with you lately Homer  I think I will seek counselling;)

I would think his priority will be getting the management of corporate side of the club to his likeing - no point in changing the team management till that's in place unless he feels there is a desperate need to do something.

We do however, have a tough couple of games coming up (yes, we have a game this weekend!!), and a pretty tough December

This discussion could well be null and void by then as we might all be calling for a new manager by New Years Day........

:018: it's homer not Homer, you've got to get it right or he gets upset you know what these gingers are like

I'd like to see him stay, but i wouldn't exactly in tears if he stayed either

what like O'Leary at Villa and Leeds? How much did he pay for Seth Johnson again? Curbishely on Rommedahl? At least Kelly hasnt wasted any money, you should reserve judgement on his skills in the transfer market until hes had a chance to display them!
