Wolves fire McCarthy

He signed Stearman when they were in the Championship, the level where he proved to be very capable for us.

He's had his fair share of embarassing moments in the Prem but he must have been doing something right for MM to keep faith in him.

Capable? Glossing over his changeable, red-faced and hoofing performances, he was an integral reason why the club entered the third tier for the first time in 124 years. Maybe McCarthy keeping faith with him is the reason why the club is where it now is and Mick is signing on every fortnight?

I'm being glib for the sake, suffice to say I never rated the bloke for us but I'll freely admit I haven't seen much of him in the top flight.

They've finally made an appointment - their assistant manager has been given the job until the end of the season. What. A. Joke. Bet they're wishing they hadn't sacked McCarthy now...

When Mr "not take a risk" Curbishley turned them down I reckon the writing was on the wall.
So we'll be seeing Stearman down at the KP next season now I reckon.

So Wolves are staying up then? :102:

This made me smile, i was talking with a Wolves season ticket holder and they were convinced that Curbishley was their man. Not to pleased with their chairman to say the least
