From the little I saw I would agree, of course McNumpty and others don't think so. Those same "journos" were talking up Alexander-Arnold too, from what I saw he was woeful with his set piece delivery. Just how bad was Dier? even the Tottenham lovers weren't too impressed.

Dier was woeful, poor passing, poor, well everything really.

I did appreciate him more through his absence than in the previous two games.

Dare I say our midfield attacking threat also missed Harry’s marauding runs? I know he was on second half but didn’t seem to have the same licence against Belgium, either because they are a decent team or they just weren’t bothered about scoring.
