Hooray, Hooray, it's Ian Holloway
Lots of fun for everyone with Ian Holloway

We're all going up with, Ian Holloway
No more worrying for a, season or two,
Fun and laughter with, Ian Holloway,
No more worries for me and you.
For a season or two.

I bet in a few weeks we will realise its Stanley Holloway

Crikey they are worked up aren't they?

New twist? Hope he hasn't s**t in MM's car like others have allegedly done :icon_roll

Or snorted cocaine? Or punched Clive Clarke? :icon_wink

I bet it will just be some bollocks about an illegal approach, something that they will struggle to prove.

I wasn't particularly thrilled when I heard Holloway was our new manager but I'm starting to think he might be okay. I thought he was another defensive minded type like Megon and Burrows but after hearing his comments on the England loss I've changed my opinion. I wish him and the team all the best this weekend, I just hope we can get some stability in the club for a while. :icon_conf

My interest has already dropped. This will be a shit appointment if it happens. :icon_sad:

As you can so I was not too happy when the news broke. :icon_conf The moment when this was semi-confirmed in this thread, was the moment our destiny was sealed rather than via any single match. :icon_conf

I wasn't entirely over the moon either, a bit indifferent really. I think he should definately go if we can find a suitable replacement, it would be nice to have some stability but it's not always as simple as that.

I really think we could do worse than try and get Mike Newell in, and I think he'd come here as well...

I accepted IH at the time because the alternatives seemed to be Reid or Royle, and he seemed the least bad choice. But I don't imagine the other two would have fared any worse.

There were far better candidates around when we got IH, and when we got Megson and Holloway. I don't want to imagine who we'll end up with next - assuming Holloway is sacked, which seems likely.
