With a move for Norris looking more unlikely by the day i was just wondering what other midfielders could be as good or even better than Norris at a cheaper price.
one that i would like us to sign would be Thomas Buffel from Rangers who is looking to move away from Ibrox inthis window.He plays in midfield and also can adapt to play as a striker.
He only cost £2.5 mil when Rangers bought him and has fell down the pecking order this season so imo we could probably sign him for half of what Norris is going to cost.

Plymouth dont seem to keen on letting him go and ipswich are also keen with them near the play off positions i just think that if he does leave he would more likely want to go to them than fight at the bottom with us.
