That is true, posts on all message boards are always complaining about ticket prices, would the mindset of so many really change if MM took over?

if the football supported it then yes

My criticism of the Trust is for the stance they have taken and the fact that are painting a very bleak picture of previous takeovers, they should be keeping an open mind, and at present IMO they are clearly not. The club is in the hands of true supporters but a group of egomaniacs who appear intent on maintaining their grip on our club regardless of circumstance or opportunity.

We do have an open mind, we are just trying to balance the enthusiasm on most message boards to grab the first money pot and also make it clear that an in depth knowledge of any potential new owner(s) &n their plans for our club is essential.

We are busy gathering information from our variety of football contacts built up since we first formed

so you think we will have investors queing at the door, when a few years ago we struggled to find 5 mill to buy the club when it was about to go out of business?

Why? Mandaric has made it clear that at this stage and in the forseeable future he is associated with Portsmouth.

Or perhaps they've read between the lines of MM's statement in the same way as everyone else is?
Or maybe they're trying to be prepared in case something happens?

Yes on both counts, he didn't say no or never did he.

And we have to be prepared for every eventuality, this particular story has focussed our minds on how we should handle any potential bidders in the future and is therefore one of the main topics for the Trust board meeting next week

Re: Mandaric resigns from pompey

lets hope that mandaric will come and put his money into leicester, we certainly need it, just imagine having some money again:038:

its not just the money though is it - Mandaric has a good track record - he was involved with Nice FC in France and another european club aswell.. I can't remember exactly which

EDIT - Standard Liege FC in Belgium

he used to own both.
