because if we don't do well in these last few games then our idiot fans will be calling for sven's head regardless of the team being kids.

As I see it the chances of Sven being at the club for next season have risen significantly in the last couple of months. This is on the basis that his stock has fallen drastically in a totally latest results driven industry and frankly as things stand no Premier League club is likely to want him for the time being.

What I hope will happen is that he will reflect on what is actually required to get this club promoted and act accordingly. It could be that he hasn't had much choice but to go with kids during this season and hope that Yak was going to wake up from his slumbers with Everton and suddenly play to his ability. Neither of those options has worked.

I hope he will construct a team that will be strong enough to get promoted and then worry about what might be good enough for the Premier League if and when we get promoted.

P.S. on the goalkeeping position, I think the fans would rather see a home grown kid playing his best than Ricardo flapping around or Weale just proving for the umpteenth time that he is the wrong side of mediocre.
