Only if you could sell the residue, otherwise you've stripped an asset you still own and can't offload because it's carrying so much debt. you'd be right up the creek!

He oversaw the club through administration, did all he could to keep some stability when everyone was losing their jobs or jumping ship, got us promoted to the Premiership on a shoestring.... OK, so his shoestring squad had some duffs and he started to lose it a bit at then end, no surprise...

Hypocrites? Why? He's being judged on his performance, not what sort of bloke he is. Last year it was way below what he should have been capable of, this year he's improved dramatically and people appreciate it. Why does that make us hypocrites?
