I've a mate who can fall asleep anywhere, he has been known to fall asleep in restaurants after ordering his food or sat on the bench at football. Rooney does seem a dozy.
2 weeks before the start of the new season and Derby have 7 outfield players and 2 keepers in the senior squad and can only sign out of contract players on short term deals, I bet their fans are really excited about the new season.
Looking at the current virus rates in the population and r number you could conclude that there are likely to be around 500 infected people at the CS with a probability of infecting one person each whilst they are infected. Obviously there are associated risks with public transport, pubs etc...
Looking forward to fortress Wembley at the Community Shield, the only way to get a 2030 WC bid back on the table will be for the government to show it has control of the fans which probably means that we are in for a whole load of new restrictions.
Tbh I'm not in a great place today, my wife and niece were assaulted by a city fan after the game and they spent quite some time with the police trying to catch the offender, probably shouldn't have gone online
Sorry you didn't like my comment but I really don't see death as a tragedy, it's a part of life and people die all the time. I'm insensitive enough to stand by my views on death.
This all relies on players, agents, clubs and players family abiding by the rules completely, anyone who actually believes that players aren't tapped up all the time is a little bit deluded.
They don't have to but it is good business sense to have some higher priced tickets available to buy for each match, gamble is that for some less fancied teams we may not have a full house if moved for TV or we aren't doing well.
Re: Lloyd Dyer to be released
I'm not really bothered about this, Lloyd was hit and miss in the Championship and likely to be more so in the Premier League, he was offered a contract at a level the management thought was warranted and rejected it.
Actually we only have Moore, mahrez and an academy player at the moment, Danny and Vardy too big to bother turning up. Apparently Knocky was never coming.
Only 4 first team players turning up to the supporter's club awards (DD, AK, RM and Vary) and it's taking 40 minutes to get a drink from the bar so we should be ok on Saturday
Antonio Pinto, a 3 times winner of the London Marathon claims he drank 2 bottles of wine the night before running races, I'd be lucky to jog to the newsagents the next morning after that.
This year all Premier League clubs that weren't in European competitions entered the COC at round 2, so yes we should get away without playing round 1.
The law only applies if travelling on buses to regulated sports matches

(I know this is the NI legislation)
I don't think anyone is advocating players getting pissed or out of control but that is a far cry from the total abstinence that BN is advocating during the season, players are people and I'd guess that few of ours get drunk regularly since they'd not be able to perform at the top levels they...
You fail to say which professional teams in Europe have totally dry squads, also you'll find the ashes team had further games to play after winning the ashes. You may bang on about this but it all seems like the pointless ranting of an obsessive.
It's fairly obvious that there isn't a single top level club in Europe where complete abstinence by every squad member is a reality, clubs are dealing with humans not machines, if you can't live with that I suggest following a league in a country where all stimulants and depressants are banned.
