no it wont.

I think it will.

The following teams need the following points to achieve 50 points.

Hull require 19 points from 15 games
Southend require 22 points from 15 games
Leeds require 23 points from 16 games

On current form, all 3 will struggle to achieve that.

I'm fed up of all the fecking monaning. the bloke can't win no matter what he says. he's set them a target to reach safety, we are in a relegation fight after all. there'd be more pressure on them if they were expected to win every game (although half the moron fans do expect it!).

Are you happy with Rob Kelly Nathan?

that poison dwarf reckons leeds need 8 wins from their remaining games to have any chance of staying up :081:

Plus I'm sick of all this "we knew it would be a scrappy, low scoring game on Saturday blah blah"

Well if that's the message you are preaching before the game, then it's no surprise that is precisely what you have got.

What you should have said is "Luton have sold their best players, are in a terrible run of form - and if we really get stuck into the southern nancies we'll give them the beating of their lives"

Well that'll give them the magic 50 points, so as long as we win 3 more than leeds, we should be ok. Phew that's a relief. I thought we were gonna struggle there for a minute.:icon_lol:

No he can't win whatever he says is wrong because his mindset is all wrong. We all know that two of the main skills in a manager is communication and motivation. I would suggest that every manager in the division would rate themselves better than Kelly.

Kelly's statements indicate he has neither skills - his appalling results as both a coach and a manager at Leicester prove he has neither.

We have a board and a so called' manager' who set their sights so low as to be virtually invisible

I'm not happy with the results or our position, but i think the bloke's done the best he can. he's been in charge for a year and already people want him out despite him inheriting somebody else's team with no money to strengthen the squad. The players that have had to leave haven't been replaced with the required quality.

i think the bloke's done the best he can.
This is the fecking problem for christ's sake.

If he's done the best he can, what happens when his form dips and he doesn't do the best he can, what happens when he has a bad run :102:

I'm fed up with hearing this bollox!!!!!!!!!

I agree completely

The man has done the best to his ability. Sadly his ability is limited in the extreme

He's done his best - but his best isn't good enough

but i think the bloke's done the best he can.

I thought that but I believe there is clubs and their managers which are in a similar or worse budget than us and they're are not threaten by relegation. Geraint Williams was assistant to Phil Parkinson at Colchester but he's motivated another bloke's squad to 9th in the league. Smaller wage budget aswell.

The FA Cup Performances prove that they can do better than they currently are.

Yes - he has....and he's not good enough and it's not good enough.

Kelly is not a manager - he was a cheapskate option by a board that took the easy way out.

Even Levein who was just a fish out of water (sorry HF) had a sort of strategy to replace the Adam's pensioners with a younger squad.....but Kelly is out of his depth and floundering. It would be a kindness to sack him.....but MM may have to wait till the end of season when we can attract someone better than now i.e. on the assumption that Kelly and this hopeless board don't take us down

You are such a miserable old trout, carping on and on about the past.

For cod's hake, lighten up you sole-less old crab

Although I don't agree with RK setting them a target, 50 points IMO will see us well safe.

Kelly has set a target to be worse than we have been so far! slightly.

he should be encouraging them to improve!
